  1. For context, 27 men made the 3 heat 100m semi in Paris, fastest qualifiers were Kenny B & Kerley in 9.97 & slowest qualifiers were Favour Ashe & Joshua Hartmann in 10.16. It then took 9.80 – 9.93 to make the 8 Man Final. 11:00; Jeremy Wariner ran 20.19 (+1.2) & MHS ran 20.34 (-0.4). Cuban Alberto Juantorena @Montreal '76 is the only person in history to pull off the extremely rare OLY 400/800m double when he ran 44.26 & 1.43.50 WR. In the modern era, Kenyan Emmanuel Korir (44.21 & 1.42.05) has really been the only man with that rare elite versatility along with Ana Fidelia Quirot (49.61 & 1.54.44), Jearl Miles-Clark (49.40 & 1.56.40) & Athing Mu (49.57 & 1.54.97) for the women. Athing at full potentital is a true unicorn cos she's capable of low-to-mid 22s in the 200m, sub 49s in the 400m, sub 1.54 in the 800m, sub 4m in the 1500m & sub 4.20 in the Mile.

800m GOAT David Rudisha was a low-to-mid 45s quarter-miler. Quincy Wilson could go on to have that rare 400/800m versatility. This time last yr 19yr old Freshman JaMeesia Ford (35.83) in literally her 1st race in the NCAA almost broke Abby Steiner's 35.80 indoor 300m Record. Gabby ran that mile in 5.43, with better pacing would've been closer to the quickest time of 5.25 by 400m Hurdler Bianca Stubler. Mile WRs are 4.07.64 by Faith Kipyegon & 3.43.13 by Hicham El Guerrouj.

  2. Noah is correct. I trained to run fast in December last year and opened up 20.7 Dec 6 and was hurt by February
