Olli Määttä trade should help fill Utah Hockey Club’s defensive holes | ALL Utah Hockey Podcast



The Utah Hockey Club acquired defenseman Olli Määttä from the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday for a 2025 third-round draft choice. The steady veteran could help fill the void left by injuries to Sean Durzi and John Marino until the end of the season.

  1. Something had to happen. It’s been getting ugly. The choke job against SJ should have been a major wake up call. I realize season is 82 games but at the same time you can’t let it get away from you early.
