Mason Mannek is a classy guy and an inspiration to young players from Utah. Watching him play in the ECHL he was clearly an AHL caliber player. If the Grizzlies had protected him (as they should have) he would eventually have been playing with the AHL affiliate and who knows after that. But life takes different paths and I think he's on a good one with his family and business.
