Seriously though such a great problem to have. Inch him up from the bottom lines in the following games. While I think a vet like Arvi would want more ice time I'm sure he's here to win and it doesn't matter how to him. He'll have his moments to make a big impact in the playoffs where injuries inevitably happen.

Guys, defense is the ONLY issue with this team. Nothing else should be the focus. We have so much depth to trade away at forward.
It`s a shame, that both of the Oilers celebrated UFA pickups (Skinner and Arvidsson) didn`t justify their contract right now.
For the 7m cap hit of those 2 it would have been possible to keep McLeod and Broberg and Holloway (signed to reasonable contracts).
Could we trade him for someone like…. Oh I dunno…. Dylan Holloway?

Arvy to line 1, Nuge to 3C, scratch DR, give that a couple games. Don’t breakup the Drai/Podz/Kap chemistry just yet
this does not make any sense but bump down Evan Bouchard's minutes. I think guys will adhere to their roles more if they see the team improving. There are benefits for keeping him but defensively not a lot has changed because he becomes a target for liability in most games.
It's time to put D. Ryan out to pasture. I hate to say it, love the guy but his expected production is rock bottom. Saying that, everyone on the bottom six could spend some time up in the press box.
It might have to be a trade. Since he has a no trade it would need to be creative. I can possibly see a swap with Boston. Boston is bottom 6 in goals and outside of Pasternak and Marchand there aren’t any big offensive threats. I think a swap for Morgan geekie could be interesting. Big can play both center and wing. Less upside with him but is an RFA at the end of the year. My idea of lines come playoff time for the forwards is
Nuge – McDavid – Hyman
Podkolzin – Draisaitl – Arvidsson
Kane – Henrique – Brown
Janmark – Geekie – Kapanen
Extras: Perry and Ryan/Philp
