Juneau Iafrati was a bad trade as was Thornton don’t remember who they got in return Tyler seguin was young and didn’t want to follow organization rules as I remember
I heard Seguin was traded cuz he was banging Nathan Hortons wife. Not sure if there's any truth to that but apparently Seguin was not liked in the locker room.
Thornton is the worst trade of those three. I remember that. Also agree with another comment on here saying the return for Ullmark seems questionable…( That's may be "to be determined" yet.)
The Thornton trade was the best trade they ever made. It was a salary dump, promoted Bergy, signed Savard and Chara, got Sturm and eventually won the cup. Not a fan of the other two trades but neither of those players made a difference on their teams. The Juneau trade probably worst of the 3.
They simply did not get enough back for Thornton and Sequin, had they gotten Marleau for Thornton and Benn for Sequin, these would have been fair deals. Another bad trade was sending Al Secord to Chicago for Mike O'Connell, Secord was tough and could fight, but also became a legit goal scorer with the Blackhawks.
A coin flip between the Thornton deal, which I'd read was done because of JT not being the big bruiser his size indicated which was dumb and the Sequin trade. Why. Because he was allegedly extremely immature off ice? So the vaunted Bruin team culture embodied by the likes of Big Zee, David Krejci, Adam McQuaid, Andrew Ference, Dennis Seidenberg, Shawn Thornton couldn't get him to straighten up and fly right?

Could be Ulmark? Will see
Thornton trade was the worst. Seguin was a star but never able to lead. Juneau trade was bad too but he faded off after a couple years in Washington.
Ken Dryden for two guys who could not even make the team 🤬

93 trade of Juneau, the kid could score!! But sinden like always traded away all the young players for has beens
I still hate the old Shawn McEachern trade for Trent Mcleary and a draft pick. Shawn put up decent numbers in Ottawa .
What did we get when Bobby orr went to Chicago? Nothing.

Ullmark for sure
1000% Seguin
Ullmark trade to Ottawa recently was really bad, return was abysmal for how good he still is

It’s ether the jumbo trade or silky smooth Seguin, you decide I guess (btw thanks for Ullmark)

the botched seguin trade-hated it!-almost as bad as the babe ruth trade but they are really dumb and this proved it again.
Seguin
come on 1976 trade of Bobby Orr. end of story.
Let's see how it pans out before we solidify it but how does Ullmark sound?

Ken Dryden to Montreal, the guy won 6 cups in his 8 yrs in the league, the guy was the best goalie of all time!
We traded our 5th round pick in 2015 for practically nothing. That 5th rounder became Kaprizov

Seagun for shore
Juneau for Iafrate was brutal. I had high hopes for Al, and actually saw him play B’s vs Habs at the Montreal Forum, if I remember correctly
