I’ll tell you what’s shitty..Rakell in OT going for a big circle skate in offensive zone just to turn the puck over. When he was coming around the net he had free ice to take it to the net. Malkin in OT along the goal line plays the puck to no one behind the Senators goal which gave them a free out. Keep possession of the puck…2 low IQ plays. Also, unless i missed something why was Rakell starting with Sid & not Rust in OT?
Nothing wrong with that goal. I’ve seen sid direct pucks in with all parts of his body many times. The pens have also scored a few that way this season with deflections

I hate to admit that he’s correct, it was a shitty goal because Ottawa intentionally utilized his players skate to deflect it in . But I also think that he is mentally weak to allow that play to bother him until the end when Brady made a nice toe drag to screenshot OT winner . 1-shitty break on the skate deflected goal 1-shitty nhl goaltending performance on the toe drag winner Ottawa got two breaks and one of them was because you are mentally weak.
