  1. Damn, as a coyotes fan, this hurts! Unless they can pull out a miracle, their playoff chances are done. This will be another buildup year…

  2. This hits them hard. I agree with what someone else said, maybe ask about Darling. Ya never know

  3. If it is his knee, he should give good ol' Kronwall a call and ask about his cyborg knees. Everyone thought he was done, but here we are.

  4. Raanta is a really good goalie. When he was moved from the Rangers, I was absolutely bummed.

  5. Maybe give Steve Mason or Kari Lehtonen a phone call. Two free agents that would probably love a shot at proving their worth again.

  6. Yotes fan here.

    Dear Arizona Coyotes:
There is absolutely no point in keeping Raanta if he keeps getting injured. Yes he is absolutely fantastic when he’s healthy. But he appears to be more injured than healthy.

I know this is just his 2nd year with us and I know he has a contract with us. But considering what is going on right now. The best thing to do right now would be to cancel his contract and trade him. Sorry but from what I see, it was a complete waste of money to get him in the first place, our best bet right now is Hill and Kuemper. I know this may seem to people who read this as just a angry rant, but think about. Why bother keeping a player on your team if he keeps getting injured? Ughhh…. just please do better in Houston.

  7. As a Caps fan, I’ve always pulled for the Yotes.. like you said it’s been a while since yall had something to be excited about and the beginning of this season, certainly was exciting for you. Is there any more detail as far as the mechanism of the injury, was is a twist or a jam? It was during the game vs the Wild iirc..

  8. IF Hill does end up playing well this season, it could be that they have had to use him like a starter for many games in a row when he isn’t in starter shape. Tocchet made a similar comment about Raanta last season and how he started off bad because he wasn’t in starter shape. Just looking for something positive in all this. I know he’s only had a couple “bad” games, but maybe he’ll improve with some rest. They also need some bigger men on D, Hjarmarsson can’t take them all for the team, and OEL is busy giving assisted to the other team

  9. I think the Yotes should stick with Kuemper and Hill for the season, we're not making the playoffs at this point, and I'd rather see what we have. However, if the Coyotes should actually get themselves into the wildcard conversation, I think we should maybe look for someone like Allen at the deadline.

  10. Our only decent defenseman is OEL without Raanta to stand on his head and the wonder kid Keller to score for us we're fucked
