They stink. They won’t make the playoffs and even if some miracle happens and they do they’ll be done in the first round. So what does that accomplish? It simply delays the tearing down of this team which is exactly what should be happening.
Who knows how the rest of the season will go,but I give the Pens full credit. A couple of weeks ago they looked DEAD. I mean,pathetic. But they have battled back to at least make it to .500 again.
It almost seems like they refused to listen to Sullivan and then when they realized he wasn’t going anywhere they said welp, might as well start playing now!
pickering has picked up some bad habits from the rest of pens defense , he was responsible for that ridiculous 2nd kings goal ! so many of the pens bad play is "COACHING" ! do they ever break down film ?? yes I know they won , but the kings arent a scoring jugernaut !
Awesome win last night… but I will NEVER understand why they defend by backing up and allowing all of our opponents to just skate through the neutral zone and past the blue line with no resistance, and then we crowd around the net. We give the other team all the ice and space they would ever want on every power play or rushing play. It’s mind boggling

Another positive is how we've been able to get some wins without Crosby having to do much.
