Idk who PK is watching play because it isn't the same Miller I'm watching . Sure it's undeniable Miller has potential we all see the flashes but after how many seasons it's still just flashes he can't put it together, mabey NY just isn't the right place for him to thrive.

Its sad to say about someone who is one of my favorite players…but he's gotta go. Him and Trouba are absolute liabilities on the D Line and we need to sure up this team's defensive front.
I think PK may be right but only if he plays elsewhere. IMO guys like Miller aren't made for NY. He's the kind of guy that would probably thrive on a small market team out West like the Ducks or Sharks.
Miller has been awful this year, just brutal. 6’5’’ and body checks like a Girl Scout.
Rangers need a new Defense coach.
I started this season with such high hopes. Now I'm completely indifferent. We need a change. I don't know how we do it, but we need something to shake this team up. Miller has been a disaster.
The only brightside about the defensive play last night. Is that Schneider and Jones looked liked the defensive pairing that played well together during there Wolfpack days in the AHL, is finally carrying over into the NHL now. Jones and Schneider were plus 2 last night, Miller was a -4 and Trouba was -3. It's time for a major defensive redo on the defensive end. Build around Schneider, Jones and Mancini. The rest can go. Fox who is all offense, still hasn't scored a single goal, even he has regressed this season. I know it's early, but it's time to slam that panic button due to the consistent defensive issues this Rangers lineup has on a nightly basis.
I think what pk is trying to say is for guy the size of size and length he needs to play harder and not be a soft little boy. As well as committing more to the puck and being more confident

I'm sorry but I'm gonna say it. Keandre didn't play defense long enough to develop a defenseman's mentality. He was a forward until he was 16 before switching to defense. Keandre can be an Elite prescience BUT he needs a veteran to learn from like Karlsson, Letang, or Doughty. Trouba isn't teaching him anything and his play is getting stale. Fox & Mansini look great but its obvious to any hockey player Kandre just doesn't fit right now. They either need to reassess his position and utilize him more or give him to a rebuilding team so he can develop into the player he is supposed to be.

Miller was on the ice for all 5 goals against the Jets – his shorts got put on the flagpole outside the garden on the second goal – the dude is lost all the time. No effort and being out of position is his M.O – coach better do something about it before it’s too late

The Rangers should get rid of both Miller and Lindgren and let Mancini and other young players play. There's some value in these 2 so Drury should take advantage of that fact. They've both literally reached their ceiling with this team and probably need a change of scenery for both players and team! #NYR

I think at the end of this year, give him a 1 year 'prove it' deal. He does have a lot of potential for this team, but idk if he can take that next step. if he doesnt show improvement next year, then I say we start to shop him, seeing what kind of trades we can swing our way, give guys like jones and mancini permanent spots on our roster

Yeah, the same could be said for pretty much every defenseman we’ve had this year. In my opinion, Fox has not been good. Our defense group as a whole lacks the leadership as of right now. With that said sometimes you also don’t want them playing gritty right now. What’s the difference honestly hopefully it’s like a light switch that they can turn on and off with the grit but the problem I have is the decision-making it’s piss poor that isn’t something that needs to be turned on and off throughout the season to the playoffs. That is something you have consistently through the entirety of the season, which they do not and there is not one defenseman that has stood out as the outlier one that has done a great job not one.. hockey players keep things in house but by the eye test you can tell that things are not cohesive in the defensive world of the New York Rangers. I speculate it comes directly from the Captain and it might be time to either be in remove his captaincy, trade him all of the above. Either that or they’re upset directly with the organization on how they handled Barkley Gaidroow probably misspelled that but oh well and Jacob truba situation during the off-season. If that is the case, they need to grow up because it’s a business.. these struggles, however, is something I am almost glad to see because things came too easy to us last year and we all know what happened.. we’re not trying to win the president trophy. We are trying to win the Stanley Cup. Sometimes that road is going to be a bit bumpy.
Not only is he soft his offensive game is non existent. He plays like the puck is a hand grenade and rims the puck around the boards in the o-zone disrupting the team’s flow
Honestly we need to put mancani and have miller sit. I went to games three and four in sunrise for the conference finals he was giving the puck away which led to odd man rushes kid needs to wake up

A few years ago, during the World Junior tournament, the U.S. team played Canada. The Canadian team undressed Miller so many times it got embarrassing. He looked like a pylon. I knew right then he was no damn good. It baffles me how NYR management could ever be impressed by this guy. But then, maybe I’m not so baffled after all, considering management’s many mistakes over the years.

The young kids have C level talent. The vets are old and done. Its not too late for you bums to become Devil fans. The team of the future.
He's not getting better defensively at all. At least a couple of seasons ago he had a little offensive prowess, he only has only 2 points this season.
2 years ago he had a really solid season and playoffs. He has completely regressed. It’s so frustrating to watch a player of his size and strength refuse to be a physical presence. Imagine if he played the game like Ryan Lindgren..
