There is so much parity at the goalie position because it's all mental. There are so many examples of complete randoms coming out of no where and becoming legit NHL starters.
joey is this insane workhouse underdog story and his play since becoming the official backup has definitely stepped up. his stick handling, ability to track the puck, and positional awareness is actually really impressive. hope he continues 🙂

The Firebird's inaugural season was incredible and he was by far the biggest reason for success on the ice and in the community.

Was able to see him play against the Hershey Bears last year, was great then, nice to see hes great now!
