Hockey Night in Canada Insider Elliotte Friedman joined the guys and talked about his speculation about the Canucks and Sabres partnering on a trade, J.T. Miller’s return and more.
How could the Sabres possibly think that team looks better on paper? They went into this season praying that Peterka and Quinn would both score 30 plus this season and that was ridiculous.

How do I think the rest of the team feels when they work their asses off while getting paid half or less of what Pettersen makes. Watching P40 just loafing through his shift game after game. He has made no progress. He hasn’t gained in strength or muscle mass. He is a mediocre skater who hasn’t made the effort to get better at skating. He is blasé in his interviews and makes the same excuses. He needs to man up and do what he’s paid to. If there is a reasonable trade opportunity then I say the Canucks should entertain it.
Huggy doesn't burn hot. But you can see it on his face on the ice that he's a gamer. Of the core 5 of Miller, Petey, Boeser, Demko and Hughes. I trade all 4 of the others before even entertaining the idea of moving Hughes.
Petey played so much better when Miller was gone. And when Miller came back, he sucked. Miller is Petey's trigger! Petey needs psychological therapy to not let Miller get into his head.
