Looked to me like Carlo was blocking out Benn on the red line. Carlo turned his head at the top of the circle to look to see who was behind him as he headed for the puck and stops and lunges back towards Benn at the red line to block him out. Benn was bracing himself for the hit from Carlo. Looked like a clean hit to me… but I guess I just look at these plays as some guys taking advantage of the boarding calls.
He went in back turned and then stops up for a reverse hit on Benn…what is Benn supposed to do there other than hit him back? Carlos fault

Benn should be suspended for at least as long as Carlos is out. Or 10 games if Carlos doesn't have a concussion. Definite intent to injur.

Zadarov has been poor. People overhype him because of his size.
It was a clean hit. Carlo was stupid to stop up in a vulnerable position. It was like the Reaves hit on Nurse. Nurse didn’t have the presence to look up and just leaned forward. Benn and Reaves didn’t do anything wrong. It’s not their fault the players they hit were stupid

I must add it's expected these days… it feels like there's 100 different people who decide the fines and suspensions because it's so inconsistent, just like the calls on the ice… Love the sport but hate how it's ran, for instance, Girard got smoked from behind against the Blues in 2022 in the playoffs that ended his season. YET NO CALL…. NO FINE…. NO SUSPENSION… BUT if these so-called legal hits happen every game, then what?…. it's so dumb it's PATHETIC NHL… do you want to see this hit NIGHTLY because you just said you do by not suspending… I'M sick of the inconsistent BS…
