I think the Canucks should trade desharnai for whatever picks they can. Try need to be patient let Demko get back in his groove coming back from an injury is not easy. A 1a and 1b would work I think till demmer is more set and comfortable. Moving forward it’s obvious petey struggles when him and Miller are in the lineup. The Canucks play better with miller I feel that said petey plays worse when it’s petey then when it’s just miller. If you can only play when one player is out of the lineup then maybe he needs a new landscape. As mentioned by Friedman he suggested petey to the savers for cozens and Bowen byram. Id take that deal even if either side had to add a third to 7th round pick I’d be happy. It’s clear this has to be resolved preferably before the middle of January. Let me know your thoughts
I think he need a better chance and they have almost 3 months till the deadline. AND Demko has proven to be a great goalie BUT he has said no other player has dealt with his injury so didnt know how to move forward. and in previous years has missed multiple games due to injury.. that said give him till the end of the year and If Lankinen is still kicking ass then resign him and look for a possible trade of Demko. then theres hoglander as well, they could put in a package with Desharnais for a better top 4 RHD maybe
