There was no shortage of youthful energy at Scotiabank Arena as the Toronto Maple Leafs pulled off a 4-1 win against the Chicago Blackhawks in their first Next Gen Game of the season. Auston Matthews scored his first goal since returning from injury, while Anthony Stolarz stood tall with 27 saves earning him first star of the game honours.

He is so good. Have the winning combination now!
🎶"He's Stolie Polie Goalie. He's a big and fast and sound. And in the land of curves and curls, he's the swellest keeper around" 🎶

Looks like the leafs finally have a solid goaltending tandem🙏🙏 Let’s hope both can stay healthy enough to have deep run come April.
GO LEAFS GO!!!
mitch snapping is too funny
Wollarz is the best tandem in the NHL, hands down.
Stolie and Woll are a great goalie tandem. I’ve loved Woll since he started with the Leafs. Stolie’s been a favorite since I watched him with the Ducks. I was bummed when they let him go, even though Gibson and Dostal are solid, but it worked out for Stolie ‘cause he won The Stanley Cup. Glad he’s a Leaf.
WOW thanks SO MUCH MLSE for all of 48 seconds of content. You treat your fans so much better than any other team!!!
