NHL Insider Nick Kypreos Said that Florida Panthers Forward Sam Bennett MIGHT BE TRADED if No Extension is signed! Bennett is to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the year and Panthers GM Bill Zito doesn’t want to lose him for nothing and would like to get some assets if he doesn’t want to stay in Florida.
Kypreos mentioned that the Colorado Avalanche and Dallas Stars would be 2 teams that would be interested in him and I added the New York Rangers and NJ Devils as well. These teams are in need of a physical, intimidating forward like Bennett that can impact the game like he does. Will the Florida Panthers Sign Sam Bennett to an extension or trade him to avoid losing him for nothing?

Devils won't go for Bennett, they have their eyes on Brady Tkachuk this summer after he demands a trade for failing to make the playoffs again.
Bennett and knight for andrei svechnikov.. carolina gets the playoff player they need and goalie help and we get a kinda younger version of Bennett with a bit more skill

Bennett is an identity guy.. in a way bennet is the Florida panthers.. if he goes it has to be an impactful player.. none of the teams mentioned here got nothing to offer us
