When the game turned three to one for the Sabres, I called my girlfriend at home, because I was watching the game in a Leafs bar in Vancouver (because it’s blacked out from regular cable on the West Coast-thanks Rogers and TSN) and I asked her to hang up my vintage wool Leafs jersey, which I usually hang up when I watch the games at home. She laughed and said “Oh my God you’re so superstitious you think it’s gonna affect the game? You and your crazy mojo. I’ll do it, but I think you’re crazy.”
She hung it up, and a minute later, the Leafs scored the three goals back to back.

Hey Steve, just did some research and found out that the leafs have played 6 games in the last 10 years at 5:00pm.
Not going to lie when I saw the sabers coming to Toronto I went oh god here we go again. Just something about the Sabers. The leafs have always had a problem with them I passed out before the start of the game woke up to Buffalo winning 2-0 and I said go figure. Then Toronto started playing and I was like is this possible and then they won 5-3 in the battle of the QEW. GO LEAFS GO
Don't this distract you from the fact Ryan Reaves got his teeth knocked out and they didn't even show what happened

Since the introduction of the Salary cap (if this continues), the Sabres will have made the playoffs a total of 4/19 seasons in the salary cap era… with the drought streak continuing to 14 straight. The Sabres fan in me hopes I’m wrong, but idk man
