JT is an absolute boss in every way. I understand why Matthews was given the "C," but JT still feels like the de-facto captain of this team. I might get flak for saying it, but Iām not convinced Matthews is fully captain material just yet. Credit to the team for battling back from 3-1āIāll admit, I turned the TV off, but they proved me wrong. Back-to-back losses to the Wings and Sabres wouldāve been brutal; the doomers wouldāve had a field day on Monday š¤£ GLG!

They need to break up Marner and Matthews. Its a weapon they can reserve for PP. They are far less productive together and drag resources off other lines.
