This COLLEGE Hockey Goalie’s Dreams came TRUE…

Jett Alexander became the latest College student to get a chance to play in the NHL. The Leafs were winning 7-1 over the Montreal Canadiens, when Sheldon Keefe decided to let Alexander play the last 70 seconds of the game. Alexander celebrated with his Leaf teammates for the day, but the feel-good story quickly changed. When Canadiens defenseman, Chris Wideman felt the Leafs gesture was a slap in the face.

  1. in almost every other sport, when the game is won like this, teams will pull their best players to 1. keep them from getting injured, and 2. to help the backups have actual practice in the big leagues

  2. Edmonton did this first
this is my problem with hockey media
It's all Toronto this Toronto that
I don't think that they know there is more than 1 Canadian team

  3. Just stop talking about stupid things here. And remember leafs got what they deserved 😢 as usual

  4. Bruh I’m a habs fan and that ain’t unsportsmanlike at all it’s just a kid getting a shot at the show who cares what the score is

  5. It’s no different then when Edmonton put there Ebug matthew Berlin who plays for the UofA in with only 2:16 left in the 3rd while up 7-3
