Brad Marchand Silences the Boos | Bruins Game 32 Recap | Wahlstrom

The Boston Bruins win 5-1 over the Vancouver Canucks in the closet game they have had this year to a full 60-minute effort. Brad Marchand silences the boos from the Vanocuver fans early in the game, David Pastrnak almost gets in on every single goal, and the Boston Bruins claim Oliver Wahlstrom off waivers from the New York Islanders. As always, I will cover the highs and the lows from the Bruins 5-1 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

  1. Great update per usual…and finally a game with some actual "highlights". Well done sir! Yer the best!! πŸ™‚πŸ‘

  2. In their previous game, these Canucks beat the Panthers convincingly. Last night, Florida was shut-out by Calgary. If the Bs can beat the Flames and then go to Edmonton and beat the Oilers, go home and not collapse against the Sabres, I think the metamorphosis will be complete. If Florida continues to lose while this is happening, I think Boston will have flipped the script for the season so far. And this episode of the Twilight Zone may come to an abrupt end. And Sunrise will be even quieter.πŸ˜…

  3. Here’s my frustration. Last nights team showed it can competitive with any team in the league. The previous two game the were looking like an AHL team. Mentality issue?

  4. I think Ive seen enough, Johnson & McLaughlin are not worthy of playing time. Time for other options, preferably Poitras.

Full disclosure, I advocated for Johnson even before he joined the team, but he's cooked.

  5. Thought this was going to be another loss.
    Pleasantly surprised.
Sway did let in that soft goal. Should heave been a shut out.
On Wahlstrom, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Donnie picks up another useless local guy that the lowly Isles didn't want.
Until The B's start getting more Canadian guys, they'll never see another cup.

  6. This club is schizophrenic. Disengaged the previous two blowouts of this trip, the B's played likely their most complete game so far this year. This big win should help squash, even temporarily, the justified narrative of "they can't beat good teams." This was a great example of what they're capable of when they're not active participants in their own ass whuppin.

  7. The thing about Marchi is he gets the fans involved as much as he does his team. Few stars do that. He is a definitely a diamond in the rough.

As far as the game goes, the effort was there and gaining momentum, but also Canucks were checked out. If they get past Calgary then there may be hopes. Consistency matters.

  8. Marchand is hilarious! So glad to see us finally "beat the wheels off" another team! It's a Festivus for the rest of us!
