  1. Glad Hutson's 1st goal was a beauty. It was well earned. He was a good choice for the Mitchell Stevens award

  2. Ill give the Mitchell Stevens awaed to Anderson, working his ass off every night, would like to see him with some compatible players.

  3. So…. If I didn’t know that they lost I would’ve never guessed by your enthusiasm. Let it go guys. We suck. you guys should hang out with St. Louis. Smiling after 9-2 defeat fucking pathetic.

  4. Habs played better as a team. Monty tried to keep the team close. Only wished special teams went better that game. Kind of not totally liking the diamond pattern for PK since it leaves the backdoor open. Great that Lane got his 1st NHL goal and against one of the best goalies in the league.

  5. Kirby Dach needs to learn that hockey is not played with your stick up over your head. It is played with your stick down on the ice!

  6. Happy that Hutson got his first goal.
Losing is not a way to build. The team needs to learn how to win. Somewhere in this season there has to be serious questions asked about whether MSL is the coach to get the Canadiens winning. Very frustrating as a Atlantic division is there for the taking.
Josh for your enthusiasm I think you should get the Mitchell Stevens Award,

  7. The “Marty needs to go” take is lazy at best. It will keep them in a seemingly perpetual rebuild. How about we get a real captain in the locker room. And Monty is good, but he isn’t top tier good.

  8. One thing I do not understand is how the Habs take so many high stick penalties. I was nowhere near a pro hockey player but I knew if I kept my stick on the ice I had a better chance of intercepting, deflecting, stripping the puck from the opposition or even a deflection will count. A stick in the air results in high sticking penalties, high sticks that bring bad faceoff positions, also, deflections won't count above the crossbar and there is no way of lifting the opponents sticks to steal the puck. Great show! GO HABS GO! Oh! And I bet Mitchell Stevens always kept his stick on the ice! 🤣

  9. "Canadiens current 29-game streak without recording more than 30 shots on goal is 2 shy of tying an NHL single-season record." Montreal has a shot volume issue.

  10. You can add two Demidovs next year and you still will not make the playoffs. The Habs lack ……..1) defense …… 2) size …… 3) grit…. 4) A coach who has already coached in the NHL playoffs.

  11. If the Habs were a playoff team, I would definitely want Josh Anderson in the line-up. He is quite the physical force to deal with right now. He's really playing well, very physical and very en gaged. I think there will be a dozen teams knocking on the Habs door , looking to acquire Anderson come the trade deadline. Anderson can definitely help a contender go far in the playoffs, so long as he continues to play that physical game.

  12. Call me a conspiracy freak, but Huston was holding off with his first NHl goal to do it against worthy opponent 😀
