Watched 2 minutes of the highlights and turned it off…laughable. Two players missed goals by shooting into goalie. Stone hands against better teams? Or just any team. Try shooting at a goalie board in practice. Players like to give each other standing ovations in the locker room after the game? More laughter. I think I deserve that cheesy MMA belt they hand out.
Who is that gaunt, haggard looking old dude playing for the Flyers? He always looks like he's 1 step out of sync. He's going in one direction, the play turns and goes the opposite way, and he's still going the same way. He can't score a goal on a wide open net, or lift his shot over a goalies outstretched leg pad.
Wild fan here in MN. I watched the entire game and I agree with Tort's assessment. Very even game, Fleury's save was kind of lucky. We'll take it though.
