  1. Couldn't watch it!!! Even if you have ESPN+ since the NHL Network stole the game. Last week the NHL Network took 3 games in one day. I'm so done with this crap. I cancelled ESPN+. The NHL needs to fix this, you can't make people pay for a service and black out those games as well. Why can't the NHL Network and ESPN both show the game?! It's beyond frustrating that even when you pay, you get screwed. This is why people sail the seas and I don't know blame them

  2. I wish Ottawa played like that every game. While the Canes dominated some parts of the game, the Sens played well and limited the Canes chances. Could have been 5-1 with the missed opportunities. But it happens so many times in a game.

  3. I don’t have the same stress with this team holding leads as I have in past years

  4. As a Capitals fan, this is a turning point for me. I'm now switching to believing that the Capitals are the team that I expect to win the division. It had been the Rangers at the start of the season, and pretty early on it switched to Carolina. But I can't say that Carolina is the favorite to win the division anymore, and after last night, for the first time this season, I'm saying that I think that the Capitals are the team most likely to win the division.

With the issues the Rangers have, I gotta put their chances at less than 5%. And Philly doesn't have enough regulation wins to be more than 1%. But New Jersey, Carolina, and Washington all have a good chance to win the division, so I wouldn't put any as more than a 50% chance. But Carolina is definitely slipping down towards the Rangers.

  5. I can't remember which play it's in, but one of Oscar Wilde's characters complains about a married couple flirting with each other at dinner parties: "It's like washng one's clean linen in public."

  6. Imagine complaining about a missing magnet. I've known a few people who are/were frequently complaining, about both important and trivial issues. I came to the conclusion they actually enjoy being annoyed, because it reinforces that their own opinions are correct.

  7. Nick Jensen is the best all round defensemen on the sens since methot was on the team. He’s so cerebral

  8. As a Devils fan, I’m happy now that we have a chance to widen the gap in the Metro this afternoon.

  9. Sens may be turning a corner. Been playing solid defensive hockey this year. Hamonic on the top pairing has been a head scratcher but Zub is always injured. Perhaps that monkey is finally gone. Not sold yet but encouraged

  10. As the worlds biggest Shane Pinto hockey card collector, the game pleased me greatly lol

life goals, smack your wife's butt forever and always, whata beauty!!

  11. Carolina's forwards have gone 10.65 periods without scoring an even strength goal. In this stretch the Canes have had 3 power play goals, 3 goals by defense, an empty net goal, and a goal with an extra attacker but 0 goals from regular play offense. I did a quick check of the Predators and Ducks who currently have the fewest goals for in the league. I can't promise I got it correct but I didn't see Nashville go 2 games in a row without a forward scoring at even strength and the Ducks worst was a bit over 8 periods with one game them being shut out and the next game all their goals on power plays. btw that all-time worst goalie interference call that essentially took away a Canes win against the Kraken changed the results from a shruggable 3-4 (or 5-5-1) run to a starting-to-worry 2-5 (4-6-1).

  12. Ottawa has the best potential over Dead Wings and the blade less Sabres. Only 7 points separate the Sens from the Candy Canes. What a LOGJAM in between!

  13. It’s funny that a lot of Sens fans (me included) tried to cool off the Jensen hype when the trade happened by pointing out he’s been a defensive guy primarily in his career. Turns out he just wasn’t deployed as best as he could’ve been in Detroit and Washington because he’s an incredible puck carrier, passer and sometimes finisher.
