Easton S-17… Mission M-1… either of these ring a bell? These hockey sticks helped shape the game as we know it, along with some of the other iconic twigs shown over this 13 minute trip down memory lane. Jesse was joined by Winnipeg Jets star defenceman Josh Morrissey and promising young forward Brad Lambert to review some of his the squid’s childhood sticks, and while Josh was familiar with most.. Brad was introduced to some of them for the first time.

I always wanted a synergy parents couldn’t afford it
Gretzky aluminum twig is a legend
I have a Easton aluminum 25oo I'll let it go
Green and white Nike Bauer xxx, all time favourite stick
i still have my koho and a Sherwood, and even a stick branded "howitzer" like the tank. i thought fuck yea its a badass name so i entered a sweepstakes using 10$ 2$ per entry, won the stick. it had 2 dollar coins taped all over it. so i got money and a stick. they stick was the first composite stick i had it was so light you could not feel it in your hands. the flex was insane i was doing slapshots with wrist shots. that lasted 10 games until someone just slashed the stick in a corner battle and it snapped like a pencil. that was the end of that and the company had gone out of business. i then bought a ccm rbz 80
Easton bubble with focus flex blade
Your in luck Jessie your i mean are Winnipeg jets might win the cup
My best youth hockey season I scored 59 goals
How they not bust out the easton aluminum 2 piece
7:02 The Sakic curve is so good.
I had a green Easton Octane with a CCM Vector blade with a Lecavalier curve. The heal curve, open face combo made it so easy to control backhanders. My favorite goal of all time was in a game where I scored a hat trick all backhanders. I was standing in the slot, and my winger had the puck in the corner. I presented my backhand for the pass. I noticed as the puck was almost on my stick that the goalie was cheating, thinking I wild bring it to my forehand for a shot being that far out. I one timed it top corner on the backhand. I couldn't believe how much I got on it and how loud the ping was. I've had nicer goals, but that was the first goal where guys were talking about it at school the next day. It felt pretty cool to be compared to Sundin in the early 2000s, lol.
Shoutout for the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 shirt – pretty sure that just made me and Jesse best friends
How about the Nike Apolo or the RBK sick kick?
I have a fluorescent green Paul Coffey PMP Sherwood at the house to this day as an adult born in 1975. I was born in Butler Pa 1 hour from where Paul Coffey played at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. I also have a Mario Lemieux Koho and one of the 1st Eastons ever released. This video sucks and doesn't show crap, at least Coffey made the list. How about the silver Gretzky Easton? My Easton was the cheaper gold one and I still have it and the blade says 9005.
Bro the z bubble with a focus flex blade was hands down the stick back in the day. Even after one pieces came out
Black wood Bauer Supreme was my favorite in the mid 90s.
Focus flex blade… holy shit forgot about them 😂
Zbubble. My guy.
honestly the most boring segment of hockey ive ever had to sit thru on a broadcast, then they did a part two the next game. please stop.
Original OG Stealth, I remember working at Perani’s from the first Synergy- through the first stealth.
So I loved the Si-Core, Response Plus XN10, I still have an orange Response Plus, a chrome Z-Bubble with Focus flex blade, and those Cyclones were actually awesome sticks.
Synergy Si-Core, and OG Stealth are my top two.
Also, does anyone remember the Louisville TPS Tri-Core?
