Very interesting how he has almost the same approach on each shot. In a couple he just takes the initial pump fake as a shot and beats the goalie, in others he will pull backhand and shelf it, if the goalie reads the fake and knows he’s gonna try to shelf it backhand he tucks it in the five hole. Really a game of read and react for him.

Why don't we watch that one shootout shot he attempted when he barely touched the puck at the center circle.

I'd argue 3/7 of those calls would normally have just been penalty only. I'm not saying I would have an issue with them actually being penalty shots, but that's not how those plays are usually called.
