I agree with both you gents. Drury has egg on his face. Couldn't have handled this situation much worse. Jacob signed his deal with the old regime and his contract went from full nmc to limited this past off season. Witch gave the gm visions of grandeur and cap relief. But Jacob still had EVERY right to say no as you guys pointed out. In the end, i believe it was the right call. Both team and player needed to turn the page.
