In my book what Izzy did is enough. If it wasn't Periera would'nt have immediately moved to light heavyweight. I still don't understand how he cut down to 185. In my book it's 1-1. They both don't want a third fight cuz they know they both made out good. If Izzy beat Alex again it would kill his aura.
It's made Israel's win so much greater now Alex has basically tore through 205. Only had any competition against Jan. Killed me seeing him have beat Jiri so easily. I never thought Khalil really had a shot and was dreading seeing him get beat up for over 3 rounds
This might be a hard pill to swallow. But Izzy is a better fighter than Alex; With striking, grappling and IQ, a more complete fighter. I'm a huge fan of Alex, a lot more than Izzy as of right now. But Izzy always rocks Alex before he eventually goes down himself, he simply lacks that power in his shots that Alex has.
