Frank Corrado: Demko’s first game back! Can you win a cup under Tocchet’s system?

TSN’s Frank Corrado joins to discuss what was happening defensively last night, and what the team loses with no Hronek or Brannström in the lineup. He talks about Tocchet’s role in the recent run of play, and whether the home record can be salvaged soon.

  1. Thank God! Frankie's back… Seriously upset they couldn't give Demmer a Win. Haven't ever seen so many passes that missed by inches…Can these guys aim for the tape? Maybe need a new colour? blue or green or pink?

  2. Demko is sloowwww , should have been traded 2 years ago. He’s officially injury prone now and is not a trust worthy goaltender because of that. He will
Be injured again this year.. enough is enough

  3. Tocchet system is too tight. Kinda boring to watch to be honest. Nucks get out shot every game because their system is so defensive and wimpy

  4. Well evaluated…last night canucks looked slow…turnovers..lower possession time…demko was out of spec…multiple times….yup we have boring hockey….with low shots…couple more losses at home and fans should be passed off..I am…

  5. Unless we're shipping draft picks to go out and acquire a bigger name top-4, there will always be complains about the Canucks blueline. If we get a smaller puckmover, once he gets out-muscled by a bigger forward and gets scored on, then the media will harp on him for being too small…,

  6. Are we sucking at home because of the media? Do we need to black them out and let them just play??? The numbers don't lie. A lot of fundamental miscues and players holding the stick tight. I'm finally appreciating Tocchet's style of play with heavy forechecking and pressure to gain opportunities. At home we seem to boggle the puck and lose opportunities to attack the other way. Maybe we should all shut the F up.
