  1. I think Tocchet is trying to pressure management to make a deal for a d-man. He wanted to expose how weak their D is (and succeeded) and then Allvin makes a trade as a result.

  2. I might be the only Canucks fan who supported starting Suter in OT. With Miller out of the lineup, Pius Suter is by far our best face off guy. And in OT when winning that opening face off is everything, Suter had to be out there.

  3. Toch is fine. Petey is fine. The conversations about personel should be revolving around Hoglander. He's a passenger this year… Not hitting, not driving play and worst of all he isn't scoring. He had like 20 5v5 goals last year or close to it, and he's invisible this season. Of all the guys on the roster it seemed like Toch's influence and style matched Hoglander best, along with Joshua who also had a big year last season. But this season, he seems off. Maybe it's confidence, or a slow mental start to the season like people said about petey?? It's confirmed that Hoglander is a fitness monster, so he's not out of shaped 🤷

  4. Where tf is jt miller. He is still ducking the media or addressing his absence. Costing the team games that will have playoff implications, while he screws off somewhere else doing god knows what

  5. the issue is our defensive play in our own end. We can't break out properly, our D can't make the first pass, our wingers look clueless as to where they're supposed to be and what they're supposed to do, and we have no ability to win the board battles. Then by the time we go for a dump and chase, we've spent the whole shift in our own end, so they dump and change. We are also unable to control/predict play in the offensive zone. it is so easy for other teams to make a first pass by our entire forecheck and break out. So frustrating to watch this team, and we are collecting some points, but we have no reason to be in so many of these games

  6. The biggest sign the systems arent working is how low the shot count is consistently. Last night not so much but many games they just dont get many shots.

  7. The Canucks are one big crappy team. They will not make the playoffs. It is boring to watch this team.

  8. Well Vancouver canucks have played lazy infront of there goalies and have fie years . Mind you the forwards don't back check well enough..It's a team effort

  9. i've been wondering lately if this system is stymieing petie's style? he is getting points but he's not the bure-type exciting guy he was his 1st 3 years in the league. tocc is getting concerned that the petie questions just won't go away and are putting HIM on the hot seat.
