I would include: proud franchise history, rabid fans, the opportunity to break a drought and become a hero, the chance to lead a promising young team, etc etc etc
I agree GMKA missed hard, this was the first time I have wanted to move on from him.

These comments about an internal cap for the team are insane. Adams has handed out big money long-term deals like they’re candy and folks are still here wondering if he’s allowed to spend money?
There is a lot to be mad at Pegula about, but this internal cap thing blows my mind. Find proof or accept that it’s not a thing.

I got here late, bottom line Adams isn't going anywhere. The current roster has been underwhelming to the point of just walking away from even caring about watching. But they're my home town team, who else am I going to watch with the same amount of emotional investment? To answer a question that Kris asked, I think it feels worse than it really is. Still got a lot of games to get turned around, but he frustration level is awfully depressing.

Today was disappointing, and I think that Adams’ messaging in those “destination” comments furthers a losing mentality and a lot of self-pity potential for the players that are here.
If the losing streak continues, what’s to stop the guys in the room from being “guys who want to be here” to guys who feel “resigned to being here” as their season and careers stall and their GM is on record talking up all the reasons the rest of the league doesn’t want to be in Buffalo.
Turns these young guys in crucial development years from players into ambassadors for a leadership group that can’t sell guys on being here. It’s no wonder they all thrive and win Cups after they leave.

Huge Sabres fan here. From buffalo and now live in California since 1994. We have palm trees and expensive everything lol. My vacation time is based off the Sabres home games. So , i can go back home and enjoy the city , people , food , culture and catch my hometown team. Adams is off base with his presser today. I have zero chances of being a NHL'ER but if i did. My first choice would be the Sabres. Ill pick buffalo over palm trees and shit expensive everything!!!!
I did and do still believe in GMKA but im loosing my faith in his abilities to turn around the franchise. His decision making not finding Skinner replacement. Is where the question comes in for me. I believe the culture is fracture again.
If KA would of just said "we tried to get a little older over the summer but it didn't work out, we will keep trying to use this cap space to improve the team". I would have had respect for him, instead I might not go another game this year.
Time to say goodbye guys love the show, done with spending my time on the sabres. Won't watch a game again until it is a playoff game, they lost me as a life long fan, I am 54 and have seen it all, and I am done.
Buffalo is not worse than Detroit, when Detroit was winning they didn't have any problems getting players…. If Buffalo ever becomes a real team again that wins…. We wouldn't have problems getting players to come to Buffalo
