GLG!! I wonder if the team subconsciously thinks Mathews is back so we don't have to try as hard.
now this is the rabbit hole i'm down zackory. like, what were they with him out , 9-0-1 , 9-0-2, 9-1-0 or something along those lines ? he comes back and they are different. there is something to this. for starters, his nose is broke. his feelings are hurt. don't you worry, they do read chat rooms, they listen to the media , they say they don't, but trust me, they do. his feelings are hurt because this team was a machine without him, they was last year too when he was out. the only problem i'm having is why. for one thing i say he is still hurt and no, you can't bench matthews lol. is he hurting the team playing hurt ? this is more than a hangnail hurt, he's got a major problem.
Matthews is arrogant, tries hard for a bit, then he eases up, like his mind is elsewhere, maybe thinking about his next ad, looks to me like he refuses to man up
