Exposing weaknesses early like this is just fine. Gives us plenty of opportunity to shore up any vulnerabilities going forward. I’m actually impressed but not surprised with the resilience the team has shown since the beginning of the season. “It takes a village” no one guy or two or even three guys should or shall break the team and now we know that. Band together and carry on. Hats off to Jim, Patrick and Rick for not jumping the gun and wasting money or assets.

Miller is 2 years into a 7 year contract with an 8 million dollar cap hit. The teams that can take on that salary, either don't have anything of equal value to JT or would be unwilling to give it up, especially if it means eating cap which most teams including the Canucks I think, would be unwilling to do.
