Rebuttal to Max PF making it so start/sits aren't fun for the bottom teams anymore……the other side though is that it promotes more trading. If you want to rebuild, it makes more sense to trade with a contender for a really good hurt player, contender gets help and rebuilder guarantees less PF.

You missing that the drama in MaxPF is to trade the pts off your team. Trade for hurt players trade for picks. But get thos pts off your team. I've done point dumbs just to get the 1.01, has to be done the right way, but that's the drama.

I'm in 3 dynasty leagues and all of them uses the max pts method. Avoids tanking and/or bad coaching ✌✌
You guys don’t seem to talk much about the teams that clinch a playoff spot and tend to rest some players. I look at Hunt, R. Davis as good player to hold onto for those last two games of the year.

The Dynasty league that I am in uses a consolation bracket to help decide draft order. Every team that doesn't make the playoffs goes into a lottery for the top of the rookie draft order. Each game you win in the consolation bracket gives you one more "ticket" in the lottery for getting the top pick, and so forth. It keeps people from fully tanking, and makes the consolation bracket a bit more interesting.

The variable in MaxPF being the draft order determinant for teams outside of the playoffs, is the trading. You buy the injured players/picks and sell your RBs. It's more strategic and 100% the way to go. It's more fair, strategic, and fun than any other way i know
