  1. Understand giving Florida the benefit of the doubt but don’t understand how the Capitals dropped over the week

  2. I didn't have to watch to understand why the Rangers are in 17th. Long story short: we suck! But I watched anyway as I always do and enjoyed.

  3. The main reason Vegas has been playing better recently, is because Hill is playing like Stanley Cup Hill. Samsonov has been hit or miss all season, so Hill definitely needs to revert back to how he played during the playoffs 2 seasons ago.

  4. Have capitals number 3? After the adversity losing Ovi? The resilience this team has had. Ok i will settle for now.
Only tied for the league lead in points

  5. Cgy should absolutely trade Anderson regardless of position in the standings. Kadri as well if anyone is willing to take his contract. The Flames will not be a contender for a few yrs so trading Anderson now in his prime should get at least a 1st rounder and possibly more. Conroy isnt thinking about contending this year.

  6. Hopefully this pretty long little break we have right now gets Stone to 100% and we keep rolling.

  7. I think Stammer and Marshy are great players both HOF imo (probably a bit biased to Marshy in that regard)
But these guys as wingers struggle when they don’t have someone like Kucherov or Eichel to pass them butter multiple times a game.

  8. I’m no expert but as a fan it seems like the Stars problem is almost the entire team has gone cold besides a few guys. They haven’t had smothering defense for a while but offense and puck possession have made up for that. Without that continuous pressure idk if they can compete with the big teams. Only upside is that they’ve done what they had to do with the weaker teams.

  9. You got it about right for the Wild, but they still probably deserve to move down a spot of they lose or ot lose their next two games. They are hurt, but a lot of top teams are.

  10. It’s becoming clearer that Lavvy and Drury really have no clue on what’s going on as they shutdown Pittsburgh and then play a dominating half a game against the kraken and completely fall apart.. Time to keep making ruthless moves

  11. Well, I watch until I see where my Preds are. And…. That was fast. Night y’all. THG nailed it. No notes.

  12. As a Jets fan, I'm surprised they are still in the top ten let alone top 15.

  13. Heck yeah Utah!! Out of the bottom row, I love it! And they won again tonight, so we’re headed in the right direction 👍🏻

  14. Except for Dallas beating Calgary, The lower power ranking team won every game today. I'm sure that's gonna make it hell for doing power rankings.

  15. No. If the jets are behind, especially if its tied and they fall behind in the 3rd, its just over. Thats when i know its another loss

  16. The lightning have games in hand on everyone in the Atlantic 2-4 games just beat your nucks… They are #8-7#

  17. I just don't even know what to expect or think every time I watch the Kraken. It's a complete rollercoaster.

  18. You keep not counting Sunday games for the Stars. Stars beat the Jets last Sunday (after video) then back to back with Utah.
We've traveled farther than any team this season. Our boys are tired. Now home for next 2 weeks. Otter still undefeated at home.
    We beat the Flames tonight.

  19. Great Video, as usual, Shannon – This is why I say that you're pretty much on point with The Power Rankings – I'm A Huge Chicago & Rangers Fan & I'm in agreement with where you've put both teams. I also agree that The Jacob Trouba Trade & Igor Shesterkin Signing might bring them out of their funk, or, at the very least, they can't be using them as Excuses any longer. Let me know what you think

  20. I view those Leafs losses a little more harshly, not because they played notably badly, but because they wasted two outstanding goaltending performances, especially Stolarz. I'm hoping it's just a micro-slump and they'll get back at it because this is not goaltending you can take for granted. The worst performance either goaltender has given in the last 2 months is above league average, giving their team a solid chance to win. Each goaltender's best performance this year has been world class, easily top 3 in the league play. So when they do them no favours with the sloppy turnovers and sluggish pace getting back it isn't fun to watch. It's been decades since the Leafs had a tandem even in this ballpark. It's been about a decade since they had a starter this consistent. I really hope they don't waste it, because Woll is getting a big paycheck bump next year which suddenly makes keeping both a tougher sell, long term. Especially if the results are the same in the playoffs
