  1. As a Canucks, who has also cheered for the pens over the years. He would be a good pick up for the Pens. He would play well with Malkin. He has a lot of potential. At his best he is an absolutely pest, puts himself in the right place and has a good scoring touch. His defense needs work. He was so good last year but hasnt really had a chance this year. At training camp he was #1 in the fitness testing. His confidence seems shot and he is in Tocchets dog house. The Canucks have excess top 9 forwards so he is the odd man out.

Only reall issue in getting him is his stock has dropped but he wont be moved for nothing. Getting a value for him will be hard. His contract should add value but it might not at the moment.

  2. Crosby would be a great fit as 3rd line C in Vancouver and he can be happier playing on a winning team. I would also consider Marcus Pettersson and a 2nd round pick a fair return for Hoglander.

  3. totally disagree here for the simple fact that our def is already horrible and you want to trade away Pettersson? Another one thats a totally bad idea is shopping O'Connor, that boy is one of the best hustlers on the team and can play anywhere, plus he's young and could easily turn into a foundational piece of the team during these upcoming rebuilding years.
