  1. Hutson gonna have to put up a more points to have the chance to win Calder from Michkov or Celebrini

  2. Lane hutson is better than Slaf. Slaf is overpaid and a puck watcher. There is nothing special about him hes just a roleplayer and hes not a true #1 overall pick. But its not MTL fault that the 2022 draft class was extremely bad.

  3. If we trade our veterans we’re guaranteed to suck again next year . If we wanna improve and help the young guys we need to add 1 more veteran D , and 2 big bodies for our forwards .

  4. Davidson doesn’t do anything spectacular I feel like he’ll be a tweener. Owen Beck and Adam Engstrom are elite skaters who have the potential to make a significant impact in the NHL. Beck’s offensive instincts are better than expected and Engstrom looks like a young Mike Matheson

  5. Lane’s a defenseman so he could finish with 10-20 less points than the top rookie forward and win the Calder. Fact that he’s right there should solidify it.

  6. Chris Nilan is correct when he said .." Habs need more MEN players .." Toughness with maturity…This young core is pushed around way too easily..!! The playoffs especially require MAN MUSCLE …to advance ..!! They need a Shea Weber TYPE player or two to lead the way into battle ..!!
Hughes likes "NICE GUYS " …but grit is also needed and apart from A. XHEKAIJ there is a lacking in this lineup ..!!

  7. I appreciate you guys enthusiasm but im not as optimistic about trade deadline. Habs have 1 retention spot left. I think Savard is the player to use that spot in hopes they can get a 2nd rd pick in return. I see Armia and Dvorak as difficult to move cause of performance and salary. If we are lucky maybe 5th rd picks is the return. Evans could also fetch a 2nd er if they move him.

  8. Matheson has been a master of turnovers over the last 2-3 games. Can't wait until he leaves.
