  1. I thought aside from a few errors, this was a strong game for Vancouver. It could have gone either way. Lots of scoring opportunities for both.

  2. I disagree on your comment about lack of depth tbh. Look how our lineup could look once Miller comes back: Suter Miller Boeser, Sherwood Petey Debrusk, Joshua Bleuger Joshua. That's 3 terrifying lines.

  3. MN season ticket holder here. That was just a classic game, fun watch. Both side could have won, both sides can complain about missed calls, EK’s rib shot on a blatant cross check as I play devils advocate – so it did go both ways. Wild are also banged up, no Zuccarello, Brodin as well as Ek playing banged up. Vancouver is extremely solid, Hughes is an absolute stud. I only catch Vancouver when I’m able to stay up as your games are the last to finish many nights. 97 for Wild has some of the best hands – it’s an absolute joy to watch him up close repeatedly. Gusty is playing at an extremely high level and reinforcements will be coming with Buium if he takes the Faber path to the NHL come March.

  4. These are games I’m ok with losing. Absurd how there wasn’t a tripping call on Kaprizov though. Nonetheless successful road trip for the Canucks.

  5. I think we can agree the refs let the boys play and took the night off on this one. I was at the game in St. Paul and there were a few un-called penalties against the Canucks too. Namely, the HUGE cross check to Erickson-Ek in front of the Canucks net that sent Ek to the locker room.

  6. If you’re gonna complain about the refs then you gotta call it both ways. There was an obvious cross check on Ek with 6 minutes left in the 3rd. Just a bad officiated game all around

  7. THE Gus Bus getting a goalie goal so early in the season really set the tone for the season

  8. I’ll be honest I fell asleep in the third period pretty early on but from my recollection the Wild were pretty much beating them down in their own defensive zone all game long.

  9. kelly sutherland strikes again, the vancouver boy who stiffs the canucks every game he refs. borderline calls get missed or are not called and it goes both ways but the the O/T non call on kaprisov was a travesty. brock and dak still looking for their game. well played game and the canucks deserved a better fate.

  10. That 2nd goal wasn't elias pettersson fault. That was entirely on lankinen. The puck slowly went towards him. He could have jumped on the puck to kill the play . Instead , he played the puck up the middle . Went through a tired pettersson feet . Which went up the middle towards Middleton. Which he buried it with a clear shot on net.

  11. Lotta complaining about missed calls when the powerplays were 3 to 1 in favor of Vancouver. Do they need it to be 6 to 1 to win?
