Great 1 and 2 period for the Habs but the Caps was the better team in the 3 by a mile
Capitals defense was sloppy, but Thompson was fantastic. Thompson is the best goalie from Canada.
Ok caps deserved that one but on their first goal, seriously, how long can you hold yopur opponent's head in an armpit choke before it becomes a penalty?

Pens win and the Habs played solid hockey against the current best team in the league, I'll consider tonight a win.
Habs looked great offensively but Thompson shut it down after that second goal. Some sloppy defensive play but man you can't deny Hutson is something special, would have been electric if Gally could have scored off that pass.
Way to go Caps!! What an inspiration this team is and my dude Thompson is awesome, don't get me wrong I luv Chuckie, haha

This in a nutshell another reason Mtl can't win these type of games. 4 breakaways, 0 goals. The other night 5 breakaways, 0 goals. You can't teach an otherwise bad team how to score.

We didn't play well at all but i'm glad we found a way to get a W on a back to back. Those little scuttle bugs were skating around us all night. I don't know how many break aways they had, but nice sticktituiveness boys.
