The defense was just terrible
rangers d pairings of trouba + k'andre gave up chance after chance after chance. We're lucky we had Quick back there or this could have gone Thursday Night all over again thanks to K'andre falling asleep at the start of the game.
What does it take to get through to Rangers management? K Miller is a stiff. Trouba is overrated and overpaid. Lindgren tries hard but is too injury-prone.

This is getting absolutely ridiculous with this team I know they won the game but I'm very tired of the way this team plays Chris Drury has built a team that does not have the right construction it's filled with too many finesse players and not enough players that forecheck consistently they are horrible Gap team they are horrible cycling team I'm not blaming the coaching how many coaches can you hire in the last 45 years it's the team and the Way Drury has decided he is going to build his team Riley Smith has three goals I wonder if this team has the flu Vinny looks terrible he had 75 points last year he was excellent and I believe he wanted to Steven McDonald award last year

You got Zibby sleeping since the season started except when he’s complaining about his ice time, Troubs is the worst Capt in history as his play & postgame babbles indicate, Lindgren can’t skate , move the puck & takes twice the amount of punishment he dishes, Kreids just shows up when he wants to, Fox is nothing compared to his Norris days, Kakko seems more interested in fighting with refs & don’t even get me started on the absolute wreckage that is Miller!
False promises & complaints combined with a content for complacency…
Not to mention how baby sh*t SOFT this team is. There’s no other team in the NHL that fears this team on a physical level. As Florida exposed last season, if you come at this team in a physical way, they crumble!

Hopefully playing a great team like Winnipeg will 'scare' this team into playing a full 60 minutes for a change. But, you know the Rangers, they'd just turn around and lay an egg against San Jose on Thursday. They are probably the biggest enigma in the NHL right now. It's agonizingly frustrating to watch.

If we keep relying on master class goaltending the entire season is going to be a tough road ahead. Defense needs to wake up! We can score goals no doubt about that but if we don’t make it difficult for teams in our D Zone we are going to continue allowing 30+ shots…

While they were certainly outplayed and Quick has been as good or better tgdd SC m Shesty this year , one thing I noticed was while they had several grade A first, there were very few 2nd shots , sometimes because of Quick , others because at least the D didn’t allow it
Quick was a monster…something is deeply wrong with the Rangers top line, and it's been a problem for about half a season now. They only bring energy on the PP/PK, very very little on 5:5. They're very low energy, and it infects other lines. Rangers are a slow team.
Bench half the team and bring up some hungry Hartford players.
The top players on this team just might be of the frame of mind that they are never going to get to a Final round let alone win a Cup as long as teams like Florida are there to stop them. So, they float through tbe season and hope the hard checking teams get bounced early or incur alot of key injuries. Mila has talent but, I believe he in s being worn down by making him play too much of a defensive game. He wants to play like Artemi and fly fast, be super offensive. I know we all should want players that perform a two-way game but, some just can't oe won't. I think Mika wants to be a music festival DJ as he has made enough money from hockey by now to quit and do just that. Players today have alot more outside interests from the game than they did in years passed so, options are there. We will see . . .
Thank god for Quickie. Without our goalies we’d be in big trouble. So frustrating that we can’t seem to sharpen things up defensively.
