They got bullied again, gave up the lead, and toyed with losing their top scorer to a concussion ( in addition to him taking a critical penalty defending himself). Deslauriers is not going to score much but Id have to think he'd have dissuaded at least some of the dirty/extra hits they took today. Torts left a young, small team to the sharks today and he's responsible. Zamula, Cates, and at least 2 others wouldnt be missed AT ALL. Use what little youve got coach.
I am a NYR fan, and man do I love this coach he always wears his heart on his sleeve and he’ll let you know exactly how he’s feeling. As well as having a great pulse for the game of hockey…
It's amazing how an entire franchise keeps being punished by the league and the press (or lack of, for that matter) stemming from it's first few years of existence. Look at Mich. He's well ahead in rookie points and has had 3 multiple point games in a row but you won't see the NHL, NBC sports or sportsnet post clips of him. It's all about celebrini and Bedard. The only reason is the logo on his chest. If he was on ANY other team (especially a tank team) he'd be all over youtube. TK is having a phenomenal season but outside of Philly, you won't find out. I get that the Flyers aren't the team to watch but some of the guys definitely deserve to make the highlight reel
2 games in a row now will go in the books as "a blown lead late in the third" but in reality, it was more like the script said that the flyers werent allowed to win. Gotta make up a bunch of phantom calls against them to swing the predetermined outcome the way vegas needs it to be.
Both refs missed Charlie Coyles spear on Frederics 2nd goal. It happens often in the league when goals are scored. Teams should be able to challenge in these situations like they do for goaltender interference and off sides when a goal is scored. It would keep the integrity of the game up because at the moment it doesn't have much. Great you won buy you had to cheat.
Leafs fans here, I have to say I'm also somewhat of a Flyers because of Torts, have always been a fan of his, he's rough around the edges, but he's a no-nonsense straightshooter, maybe I have a soft spot for underdogs as well, but love how the Flyers are playing and shaping up.

More players and coaches need to be this vocal about how abysmal this league's officiating has become. It's the only way something is gonna be done about it.

The penalties in this game were ridiculous today. The bruins worked hard to come back, but the Bruins got helped by the refs.
