Reinbacher is ideal pairing for Hutson. RH D with size and offensive talent and they played well together over a short tenure. Age and rebuild timing and don't need to search the next decade…. He will be ready in a month or two.
Gallo is jumping way ahead here. Let's pump the brakes a little before claiming that demidov will be 100 pt player. I mean everyone thought bedard will be generational and he is not even at a ppg pace this season with only 4 goals.
This is quickly becoming a must-listen podcast if you’re a Habs fan. I always loved Shaun on the morning show, but I stopped listening years ago because I couldn’t stand Connor. His own podcast is the best of both worlds. Great job!
That's a bold statement but Demidov has that potential. He has many tools to produce, shot, vision, moblity, intelligence, etc. For what it's worth, my top 10 for last seaons draft were:

I hope Mitch is right about Demidov, but have been burned way too much on the over marketing of young players (like I think has been done to Bedard). I don’t watch enough junior hockey to have an opinion, but I’m keeping my expectations in check.
Struble is mobile and tough with a great shot, keep him all the way. As for a pairing partner for Hutson could acquiring RD Jiricek be the anwer? And lastly, Demidov was the steal of the 2024 draft no question.

struble and xhekaj aren't going anywhere, hughes and gorton know how hard it is to find a player like them. as far as im concerned, its the matheson, barron and savard that are expendable. and engstrom can play with/like hutson, also give him a slippery forward to dish to like demidov, so yeah, we do have guys that can play with him.
Demidov will be special. Helps take the hurt off not having Michkov. Reinbacher will be solid I think. Kind of like Rick Green. May not be flashy but will play in the league for 15+ years.

I dont think Demidov will save the habs unless we get a franchise center. Even Ovechkin needed one with Backstrom

Watched a bit (a bit!) of Celebrini's first game and instantly said he was better than Suzuki.

No player for Lane? We have Reinbacher he is going to be are future top defense men if he recovers 100 percent from his knee injury
