for pete sake why do our rival players (players on the rival team) MAKE IT SO DAMN HARD TO HATE THEM NOWADAYS? For me as a Leafs fan wants to HATE Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron but then u got clips and stories on social media of apparently BOTH Marchand and Bergeron are THE NICEST TO FANS ADULT OR CHILD and are the ones in the LR that encourage the new players to go the the charity events such as Boston Children's or Autism awareness etc. Apparently these guys have no connection to either of these worlds (IE no friends or realtives that are disabled or have/had cancer) and they said that as pro atheletes they feel its their moral duty to attend these kind of events. Like 20 years ago (man Im old.. twenty years ago was 2002) u wouldn't hear about these things (usually till after their careerr was over) but now because of social media u're hearing Brad Marchand gives stick to kid with cancer or Carey Price gives game goalie stick to kid with Mom battling cancer etc that ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO HATE THEM!

I wish McDavids contract was up a year sooner so he could do a big F U to the NHL and not sign until after the Olympics so he could for sure play.
