Ville Heinola finally appears to be ready to go after some unfortunate injury history in the last 2 seasons. Now, with Logan Stanley out for at least a little while, can Ville step into a top 6 D roll?

What're YOUR thoughts on the Heinola situation?
Been waiting for this since 2022🙏🙏😭‼️
I have no problem with Ville but the Jets do need a physical presence when the need comes especially during the playoffs. I know we have Lowry but it gets skimpy after that. Maybe the trade route would fix that.
Big fan fan of Ville and hope this year he can finally flourish! He has great vision. His eyes always wide open haha
Been waiting for Heinola's arrival since 2021. I was hoping Stanley and Lucius could be traded for a physical forward. Also the Jets need to sign Ehlers.
The Stanley experiment was over 3 years ago.
Ville in the past was too easy to move off the puck, he was maybe 160 lbs. I don't know what he weighs now, but if he hasn't filled out and gotten stronger he won't make it in the bigs.
Would love for him to pick up where he left off and get some minutes with the big club, and develop into a starter within the year. I like Stanley as a spare for the playoffs given his size and serviceability. I know people here don't like Stanley and he's no superstar, but as a role player I think he's a really good fit. If Ville plays like we've been thinking he can, what a huge asset to our D core!!
Ville can go down to the Moose (sorta). In fact, he should do a few games with the Moose on a conditioning stint before joining the Jets, 3 games maybe? Something to simulate the preseason he missed. He wouldn't need to pass through waivers. All he has to do is agree to go down for a specific number of games.
I mean it’s not wrong to say that they do need a tough guy in the back there to be a lot more physical. And it’s that horse cock Jets Hub I’ve been telling you this for weeks on end it’s the horse cock. It drags him down, but it helps out the team plus he’s got a wicked slap shot. This is my thing when we get into the playoffs there’s gonna be certain points where we’re gonna need physicality and Logan Stanley is the only one maybe next to Adam Lowry who will probably fight or throw the body around I could see Colin Miller. I could see them picking someone up at the trade deadline, but that’s my honest belief that they need to have some physicality going into the playoffs because the body’s gonna be thrown around because we have seen it in the last few years. Kyle Connor gets the body taken to him and he’s not able to create as much scoring opportunities as he can in the regular season and that’s what happens in the playoffs players get beat up. That’s why you need to bring a physical presence. Love him or hate him HORSE COCK!!!!! is here to stay, and he’ll shove it down your throat if he has to. That being said I’m actually happy you actually talk some positive things about him but still though you can’t go a video without being a negative Nelly on Logan Stanley it’s absolutely hilarious dude.
Lord of the eyebrows is here to bless our D Line! GO JETS GO!
Colorado fed Stanley his lunch in the playoffs. Time to turn the page.
Your analysis of Ville vs Logan is 100% accurate. Stanley is a pylon. Heinola is fast, smart, can pass, shoot, check, etc… he's 100X better than Stanley. It's not even close.
Ven Ville suit up 😂🤩.. this is great news!
He can be sent down on a Conditioning Stint for max 2 weeks
give ville a conditioning stint. i like fleury to fill in for stanley in the short term.
I would prefer a larger penaty kill specialist for the playoffs. Ready want to see this guy finally stick in the NHL. Even if it's with another team, I see him as a top 4 guy eventually.
fleury looking nice
Stanley and Fleury have been solid, but Heinola needs a literal change. He still has a lot of potential.
I would love to see Bville to get traded and play cogland he is a spectacular D man!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The main thing holding this team back from a Cup is the defense, and is #37 is going to be stellar in the playoffs? But it would help if their D were big enough to move opponents from the front of the net, so Helly could see better.
What the Jets really need is a couple of big tough defenseman. Not necessarily fighting tough but physically tough to keep the front of the net a feared area
Chisholm was fast! He reminds me of a young Josh. But no we put the #1 AHL def man on waivers instead of Stanley….I am still bitter LOL!
People underestimate his talent. People need to stop talking about his size. There are several defenseman his size that are extremely effective.
There is absolutely no chance he makes this team or plays a single game. He’s too small week. He’s like a copper fatty on defense. He gets pushed around easy and throws the puck up the middle way too much. I don’t think we’ll see him the entire year I truly believe this I do I really do.
