Am I wrong to blame Torts for how tentatively they play with a lead? It's seems like their too afraid to take risks because they'll get the Wrath of Torts.
the way torts talks about farabee reminds me of how he had to get TK to dial back his over aggression sometimes… TK has been a game changer since then. still crosses the line occasionally, but nowhere near as bad as he used to be. I'm hoping farabee can learn the same lesson and excel like we are watching TK excel.
Yea…. penalties late in the 3rd vs one of the best power play teams???? I knew it was over after that little tiller and 2 boys were in the box. I left for the grocery store because… I couldn't bear seeing FLA take the lead and…they took the lead!!! That's the difference with a young team. The Panthers played like like the cagey vets do. Sucked them in and beat us. Brutal lesson! Get on'em Coach! 😄
I definitely think Farabee turns it around. Similar to last years shots on goal Unfortunately he is only scoring at 5.4% this season. Last season finished at 12.1% A combination of no puck luck / snake bitten. Up until recently, Tippett was going thru the same thing.

Torts pulled the trigger to early on Fedotov yesterday. He shouldn't have pulled Fedotov so early. Kosolov was put in a position to fail. Coming in cold and facing a team who was rocking in the early stages until Flyer's got their legs going.
Tortorella had to send career ahler Richard back to the AHL because he was making players like farabee and Laughton look bad.
Wonder how long Dilly the goaltender coach lasts. Him and Rocky must be on the block as i bet hilferty is screaming in tortys ear to axe some coaches if the flyers cant play better than .500
This is why I’ve got respect for Torts. Unlike some Flyers fans, he’s not whining about the calls. They were all legit. And like he said, Flyers need to be aware of situation, not take the bait and not retaliate. Their lack of discipline is why they lost to the Stanley Cup Champions.
