Love Luke but it was the right choice. He’s got a solid future in hockey and so do the Hawks but glad to see the organization understanding the need for an adjustment in direction. Hopefully the season becomes more watchable and enjoyable for Hawks fans.
Was it on LR to bring up prospects or is that a KD move? Will we see more kids now that there’s a new coach?

When season started I said this might be a 65 pt team also would take 10 games for the team to mesh and we are almost 30 games in and still not playing well together the team speed is not there they dont fit they will get a bump from the New coach for a few games but this is not a good team and that is on the G – M yes this is year 2 of a rebuild may take 5 years and that dont mean this thing will work just take a look at the top 15 roster and go side by side !!!
KD your ambitions exceed your talent. You over pay mediocre players and expected them to help a generational talent progress? That's on you big guy.

Too bad you can’t fire some players for the poor job they seem to be doing game in and game out. One good game doesn’t make up for a myriad of sins in all the others. Unfortunately, coaches always seem to be the fall guys.
That’s definitely not a job I’d want. Another job I’d never want is a GM of a NHL team.

Davidson fell into this opportunity without an ounce of experience or resume to support it. He’s a child in a man’s game. He should have been fired. This roster is a joke and the record will not get better.
Absent 20 lbs of muscle, Kyle Bedard will never come close to the ceiling that was anticipated. Joel Q was available and deserving of a chance to bring the team back to relevance.
I fully expect Bedard to ask to get out after year 3.

Stop hiding behind a rebuild and admit you don’t know what you’re doing. This team is awful and can’t put 4 passes together. We are all watching the same garbage!!!

I blame KD not Luke. What help and guidance did Kyle and the front office give Luke? We overpaid and gave too much term for Bertuzzi and Tevo. That is not on Luke.

By bringing in this coach now if you liked him in Rockford is he will have enough games to coach to get a sample size before end of season.

Idiots here thinking Davidson hasn't done well with this rebuild in terms of prospects. His trades have been excellent mostly. With that said, I do think hawks should have got demidov at #2 last draft and with eiserman falling down, they should have picked him over Boisvert. Hawks need dynamic players and snipers. This would have helped. Grit also needed but hawks have some of those guys already playing but Dach/slaggert/Savoie could add that element later too. Really hope levshunov and Boisvert work out but lev looking mediocre at best so far. Also look at yzerman. He take over as Detroit GM in 2019. Has never made playoffs yet 5 years later. It's a fricking process when you tear it all down. It's sucks to watch but hopefully once hawks get good we have another sweet 10 year run

Look if the general manager is Soft and weak. If the coach is Soft and weak the team is Soft. Weak. No back bone no grit. No identity. No accountability by the players. This the result you get. Pathetic
8 first round picks since 2022, and Bedard is the only one who has been consistently on the NHL roster. At some point, the GM is accountable for draft picks not developing.
It's amazing how many casual fans there are that have no clue what's going on or how a rebuild works. KD has been one of the better GMs since taking over.
All off season the GM and talking heads talked about our young draft picks and thus our coming depth. Let’s see something for a change. Can’t believe how much the Hawks have fallen off as a great team. Very sad.
