  1. I think this year, if the team is still playing well at the end of the regular season, let’s not get rentals. Let’s go to war with the team we have. Playoffs is about heart

  2. All the Jets need is a solid bottom pairing defenseman, maybe that's Heinola, maybe weed find one on the open market, A middle six playoff performer would be good but we should not give away first round picks.

  3. Something went out of the Jets the day Dustin Byfuglien left the game. The team lost its swagger. If the Jets could find a D-man who is anything like him, this team would be downright intimidating!

  4. Great video.. I believe Nelson would be a perfect fit, exactly the kind of center to go well with Ehlers and Perfetti. What do you do with Namestnikov though? 4th line over Kupari who is a stud defefensively?

  5. Nelson isn’t an upgrade on Namestnikov. He’s too slow at this stage in his career. Malkin should go to Washington. Gourde is the 4th line C for Kraken right now and might fit into the bottom six for the Jets, which would spell the end of Kupari as a Jet

  6. Need a tough, shut down d-man. Leave some tread on Hellebuycks tires, back up needs to get 30 games in.

  7. Granlund is not such a bad idea. The guy has a no fear edge to his game…much like Vladdy does. A line of smart puck movers with defensive smarts and speed is better than trying to jam a square peg (big slow ctr) into a round hole. Granlund-Vlad-Ehlers would be a challenge for most teams to line match against. I would use guys like Perfetti, Heinola, Stanley, 1st rd pick, +or Barlow & Lucius to make the D & backup G playoff ready.

  8. With Chibrikov starting to add offence to his no fear game he will be banging on the NHL door very soon.
Lambert is off to a slow start with the Moose but that should change. Yager is off to a good start in the dub and will likely be Team Canada’s top C, and Barlow should provide the goal scoring to what could be a very solid 2nd line in a couple of yrs.
Having this depth should allow Chevy time to find the right fit for the 2nd line for this year & next. After that we should be good to stay a solid playoff contender.

  9. Need a 2C with term. Someone who wants to come to the peg and play for the cup, and is Hungry! Not an over the hill player either….. thats a leafs move

  10. 😂😂😂😂 71 to come to the peg? Might as well ask Bedard too as well 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  11. We don’t need an old, over the hill, undisciplined POS like Malkin. WE NEED BETTER D MEN. Leave our forwards alone.

  12. 23yr old he's not having a good year
Dylan Cozens could fit. He makes alot

    As for defence
    1.Pettersson
    2. I think Murphy in Chicago
    3. Savard
    4.Provorov,Sanheim,Byram,Weegar,Carlo,Pulock,Romanov,Anderson.

  13. Malkin is a stay away for me. The name sounds good but he’s old and lost a step or 2. He’d be a nice add but he’d cost too much and makes a little too much IMO.
I’ve been on the Brock Nelson trade train for years. Love that guy

  14. Just beat the second best team 4 – 1 with an outstanding performance from Helle. Yes, the team needed Helle last night, but that is why Chevy gave him term on his last contract. He is the man. He has to be the best player come playoff time. This team is not going to get a MacKinnon or McDavid or Matthews or any other 10+ million dollar forward and "rescuing" decent players on bad teams, like they did last year, doesn't work out.

If they are going to make a trade, it better be soon because this team, all 12 forwards and all 6 defense, PLAY A SYSTEM that is WORKING. You have to press on the forecheck and forwards have to backcheck when the defense pinches or jumps in. Personally, I am of the belief that they give both Kupari and Heinola more time, Kupari is getting better and better and Chevy has to see what he has in a healthy Ville Heinola.

  15. 30+ year olds don’t want to finish their careers in Winnipeg! They go to a Florida or California team(maybe Vegas) and play for cash not cups and glory!
