A few good starts by Juice simply cannot put a Georgiev trade on the table. It's too small a sample size. Even if down the road Juice proves that he can handle the load, what can we even get for Georgie? If his playing time becomes very limited due to Juice being the starter, his value to other GMs out there would be unknown; however, they will remember that he's lost the starter job four games into the season. Even if it's trade deadline, and someone needs a backup desperately, what would they give for a goalie who's been so shaky lately?
Send Georgie down to the AHL, or even the ECHL. Because if, and I mean if Landy comes back, he's gonna be a 4th liner at best, he won't be able to keep up with the rest of the team, and if that's the case then trade Landy or make him a defenseman. Bring back Khadri, make Mac capt.
He was terrible ALL of last year. Forget the wins, that's his team bailing him out. His numbers were terrible. Bottom third for the season. Even worse so far this year. He is not a number one and at this rate, it's arguable he's NHL caliber period.
I would like to see juice play against a contender team see how he handles it, jets, stars, Rangers, etc. Geo would a decent backup for this year before the trade deadline.
Like you said about that 3.4 mil salary of his being taken off of our cap, that would be huge for us not only for the trade deadline but also for the return of Landeskog, which we need to clear around 5 mil in cap currently for him to return during the regular season

Just the way the Team plays in front of Juice vs Georgie says everything. We cannot ignore it anymore.

Keep playing him. Hes still oir best goalie. Hes just struggling right now.
