I created this video to show that Martin Necas is having a massive break out season with the Carolina Hurricanes. But I believe that he is is extremely underrated. Everyone thought that the Carolina Hurricanes would take a step back this summer, but Necas has been leading the Hurricanes to still being one of the best teams in the NHL. If Martin Necas keeps this up, he could be one of the finalists to win MVP this season.

Necas has been my favorite player the past few years. He's shown potential that nobody else on the Hurricanes have. His untapped potential was obvious to me
This year showing what is capable of, wish his form continues as he deserves to be appreciated by Hurricanes, sad he had to go through contract uncertainty, now showing his potential and everyone is noticing. 👍🏼🇨🇿

I always knew Nečas is better than he seems. After the world cup a lot of people started to be noticing too. I have never heard people talk about Nečas here in the Czech rep. as much as they did about Pasta but after the world cup it changed. Everyone knows who Nečas is and we all knew what he is capable of. It seems to me that his performance at the world cup boosted his confidence and he wanted to show the world what he REALLY is made of.
Having basically as many points as Aho and Svechnikov combined says a lot

I love Necas, but he isn’t a top league scorer in my view.
He has become a better all-around player this year. He has been more defensively responsible, and he is working better with his linemates. He isn't trying to do everything by himself and not skating into a crowd and turning the puck over.

I think Martin was greatly influenced by his victory at the home World Championship in Prague 2024, where he played exceptionally well. It gave him the confidence he needed for his career, and that's why he's such a superstar today.😁
At the end of previous season Necas helped Czech national team on IIHF Worlds. He greatly improved the team from his first minutes on the ice and also because of him they won gold medals. And Necas was one of the best Czech players on the Championship.

Without Necas, there would not be any gold for Czechia. He was one of the key players. What I love about him, Canes got knocked out, he immediately went to doctor to see if he can fly to Czechia. Great mentality, amazing player.
