SickKids Visit | The Leaf: Blueprint

In one of the team’s most enjoyable visits of the year, we follow Joseph Woll and the rest of the Toronto Maple Leafs as they meet with patients and their families at SickKids. The team showed off their skills at the craft table, playing video games, and making sure to sign a few jerseys for some big Leafs fans.

  1. I love Woll man, he is so good on the ice, and not afraid to show his personality. A great addition to the team! Great stuff from the boys

  2. Love how the Leafs give back to the community. Thanks for making some kids' day an unforgettable one.

  3. Woller is such an amazing person. I love these kinds of interactions. Small action for the buds put such a great impact for the kids!

    Go Leafs Go!

  4. Woller is such a great spokesman for the boys in Blue when it comes to keeping life in perspective.

  5. I pray for our Life Giver and Healer Lord Jesus Christ to heal these precious children and comfort them and their families. Amen!

  6. They probably genuinely made some kid's day, or even fulfilled a dream of theirs with this visit. Genuinely a good thing for the boys to do. Even my cynicism can't argue with how sweet of a visit this was.

  7. Yknow, they aren't obligated to do this, and people often overlook goalies for the community outreach stuff. Big respect to Woll for showing up and actually enjoying it too. Doesn't seem like part of the job for him, seems to just be a thing he's enjoying doing.

  8. Realize that these efforts are more than simply for the kids. Consider the parents struggling through stress, maybe having a short moment to enjoy the smiles in the room. Or maybe the staff who dedicate themselves to the health and wellbeing of the children and families.
    Stand up efforts.
