The Sens pick number 9 on the Tankathon. Here we go again. This is the last year to tank. Next year, they will not have the luxury of their first round pick if they underperform.

So wait a sec… Last year everyone said the problem was Zaitsev… And DJ and no accountability or structure. Then it was no left D and Brammy then it was just bad bounces and then it was the goalies. Before that it was Melnyk and Dorion, and too young a team.
So what's the real problem? It seems like maybe THE CORE must be shaken up to get them to play for 60 minutes every game.
Well now the next 2 are must wins for sure… below .500 in November after dropping games against teams we should beat feels way too familiar

The Sens are a broken team and have been for quite some time. Just what players on that team should become ex-members of it isn't so clear I have to wonder if perhaps the time has indeed come for one or more of Tim Stuetzle, Brady Tkachuk, Jake Sanderson, Tom Chabot, Travis Hamonic, Anton Forsberg and Jacob Bernard-Docker to be traded or just let walk into unrestricted free agency.

Our top players simply aren’t as good as other team’s top players. At least on a consistent basis.

I love every interview when they say "we'll learn from this…" Two things that are 100% clear is that they are absolutely : NOT learning from their mistakes on the ice and they still have NOT learned to play 60 minutes.
Ross, you can't say it isn't an effort problem if they did not play hard/smart for the FULL 60 minutes.

Can't hit the panic button yet after just 13 games. I refuse to assume it's just the same as last year until I'm proven otherwise. They have been a better team this year top to bottom.
