When you first started this channel you said you wanted to be the bright spot of the Sabres media and I’ve always appreciated your effort and pure self on how you felt of the team, every other channel mocks us and thinks were a basement team, I want to hear playoff videos from you man don’t give up because of the bad, keep going because of the good!

Ruff is really the only "REAL" hockey guy in our upper management, not that big of a surprise that he couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again in 10 games. I do see vast improvements over the Krueger/Granato era's, and am so happy to see Gilbert get some playing time.
I still see Adams getting promoted to PHO, and Lindy as GM, Seth or Torts as coach.
This team reminds me of rookie year Josh Allen last season and this season. Definitely inconsistent but has some showings of greatness. We're 2 points out of a playoff spot and 3 points out of 2nd in the Atlantic.
The hockey season is long, they still have time to put it all together, but the last few games have looked different compared to earlier in the season. The biggest issue I feel like needs development is confidence. They've looked confident the last few games and that translates to better results.
All that said, if you need a break to refresh yourself, take it. Dont let the noise bring you down, we gotta tune that out and stick with the team. Those signs of greatness are enough to give me hope.

I hope that you don't hang up. I am Sabres fan since 1998. Hašek and his fantastic performance on Olympic Games in Nagano ( I am from Czech Republic) was main reason why i started watching Sabres. And fell in love to this team that i keep watching them even when they traded Hašek to Detroit.
But to be honest you and your channel restores my love for Sabres. If i remember correctly I started watching you 3 years ago around time when Sabres fired Krueger and named Don Granato as head coach. In that time I was so frustrated with Sabres that i just looked on results and didn't care more. From moment when I started watching you and your optimist take on Sabres I fell in love with them again and in last two years i saw more Sabres games than last 20 years (I was able to watch around 60 games each season).
You and your videos gives me crazy optimism about this team and I agree with you that it's just time when this team win multiple Stanley Cups. We just need to be patient. Right now I am in mindset that until Sabres lost mathmatical chance to get in playoffs there is still hope. So why be so negative?
Because Sabres wasn't in playoff 13 years? So what? Because they lost some games they should win? So what? I don't chare about these things anymore. Its past. And i won't let past dictate me what should i think about present and future of this team. Each new season is different and fresh start for entire league so anything can happens. St. Louis was one of worst teams in december and in that same season they won Stanley Cup in the end. So why can't Sabres?
I Don't think people enjoy sports anymore it seems like people just care about winning it all and with that attitude most sports fans are miserable by the end of the season.
I can understand both sides… we've been through hell with this team lately and they've teased us so often only to fail. So many now just expect the fail and it hurts. I grew up during that montreal dominance in the 70's.. but we hung with them so often back then. Now, expansion teams are making them look bad.. Covid hit this team hard. Which I think is also making it hard on Adams because it sunk this team to new lows (and Kreuger didn't help.). Now.. they are up and down like a yo=yo. We don't know which team is coming out to play. The one that beats Florida and the Rangers… or the one that loses to bottom feeders. as much as I want to stay up… the team is really kicking us while we're down. I realize that they could go on a run (and maybe the last two games are the start) and be right back in this by this time next week… but like they showed last week… they could take a few more games off the put us right back in the basement too. I'm hoping and I believe this team CAN do it.. the real question is.. WILL they? I sure hope so. But right now, there is an old saying… you reap what you sow… well, the team has sowed the seeds that they are reaping with fans right now… and THEY need to correct that. I know you want us to stay behind them.. but at the same time.. this team needs to show up something more and failure and inconsistancy as something to get behind. They have a recent history that is not on their side. Break the curse Sabres…

Roam, as an out of market diehard of 27 years I just want to tell ya how important these videos are to me. I do not have access to watch the pregame and postgame MSG reports so for years you have been that for me. Would hate to see u hang it up because you're so timely and consistent and it's somethin I can turn to before and after a game as I can't get the regular broadcasts. Have you considered disabling comments and just making this a channel for you to get your thoughts out, instead of giving others an opportunity to spout bs? Anyways, stay up Roam, there's ppl and real fans out there that need ya !
I'm 65 and have been cheering for the Sabres since the first game. I've moved around the country and haven't stopped pulling for them. I've gone to games in 5 different cities (not including Buffalo). Keep up the good work Wayne.

Wayne…as a Sabres fan since watching them beat Montreal in a playoff game on HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA back in 1973, I can only say 'Please, stay!' You just have to accept that there are some people who aren't happy unless they are miserable, or they are making life miserable for others….that's all! KEEP THE FAITH!

Spot on. I've never given up on our sabres. Keep up your videos as it helps get through the losses and of course the enjoyment of the wins. Some people will be a Debbie Downer and are easy to quit. Please don't quit because of other quitters. Some get on social media or YouTube to just bitch and complain. I would miss your videos and your voice with the sabres on here,but do what makes you happy. And this is by no means me wanting you to quit making videos. I'm just looking at it unselfishly, but obviously selfishly I along with many others enjoy your outlook and listening to you.

Nothing wrong with being critical of your team. That’s not negative it’s just honest and doesn’t relate at all to giving up on the team. When Dylan’s cozens gets 7 million a year and has 2 goals in 14 games are we supposed to just ignore that and act like it’s the greatest contract in NHL history? Criticism is fair and after 13 years fans can feel anyway they want. Don’t let a few bad apples dictate what you think of this fanbase. Most Sabres fans are not giving up.
